Criminal Law and Advocacy

What is it like to be a criminal barrister? What happens in criminal courts? How does it feel to be a witness or a defendant in court?

Summary

Every single person will come into contact with the criminal justice system at some point in their lives in some capacity. This workshop offers an insight at how the criminal justice system works.

It offers students the chance to interact with criminal barristers and lawyers who will help them prepare a case. The session will culminate in the students having a go at a mock trial scenario with their peers in a supportive environment.
